ABOUT THE COMPANY
Founded in 2007, France Process SARL was created to open the doors of French cheesemaking. For centuries, France has built an unparalleled depth of technical knowledge and artisanal expertise—much of it carefully protected and rarely shared beyond its borders. Our purpose has always been to make that knowledge accessible to cheesemakers worldwide, pairing time-honoured tradition with the most advanced modern equipment.
What began as the distribution of leading French cheesemaking equipment has evolved into a fully integrated operation. Today, we design and manufacture our own pasteurisers, stainless-steel vats for soft cheeses, copper vats for hard cheeses, automated cleaning-in-place (CIP) systems, and complete automated production solutions—each developed in close dialogue with working cheesemakers.
Our commitment to sharing expertise and driving innovation extends beyond equipment. In the heart of Burgundy, set within the Château de Villeferry, we also produce our own cheeses in a state-of-the-art creamery, where our team works with milk and cultures seven days a week. Alongside this production facility, we operate L’Ecole Française de Technologie Fromagère, a dedicated Research and Development centre, and a materials and recipe testing facility. Here, tradition is not preserved as a museum piece, but refined, tested, and passed on—ensuring French cheesemaking continues to evolve while remaining true to its roots.
